Pepsi-Cola Philippines announces Muntinlupa plant closure

Pepsi-Cola Products Philippines, Inc. (PCPPI) announced that it will cease operations at its facility in Tunasan, Muntinlupa City, at the end of the year to consolidate operations and improve efficiency.

In a statement on Tuesday, Nov. 3, PCPPI said the Metro Operations Services (MOS) plant operations will be transferred to other locations to "ensure continued service and product quality, as well as better business efficiencies."

PCPPI also noted that affected employees will receive support and resources during the transition, in line with legal requirements, company policy, and existing collective bargaining agreements.

"PCPPI will continue to hold its headquarters in Muntinlupa City," PCPPI added.

While the statement did not specify the number of employees affected, PCPPI assured that the company is committed to supporting them through the transition.

PCPPI did not disclose the specific locations where the Muntinlupa plant's operations will be transferred.
