In her message, the Vice President thanked the over 500 OFWs who joined the online celebration via Zoom for their support.

She particularly expressed her gratitude to OFWs for supporting her and the Office of the Vice President (OVP) despite the "challenges" they face.

"Kami ay masaya na nakasama namin kayo ngayong gabi at nagpapasalamat ako sa karamihan ng ating mga kababayan abroad sa pagpapakita ninyo ng suporta sa akin (We are happy that you could join us tonight and I am thankful for the support many Filipinos abroad show for me)," Duterte said.

With this, Vice President Duterte assured Filipinos that the OVP would continue serving Filipinos efficiently.

"We commit to continue to give efficient, accessible, and responsive public service mula sa Tanggapan ng Pangalawang Pangulo kahit ano man ang challenges na dumating sa amin (from the OVP no matter the challenge we face)," she said.

Noting that Christmas is the time for love, Vice President Duterte urged Filipinos to try to forgive those who have wronged them.

"Let's reflect on forgiving others who have hurt us, who have made us feel bad about ourselves, at may nasabing masakit, may nagawang masakit sa atin. Pag-isipan natin (and those who might have said or done something to hurt us. Let's think about it)," she said.

Meanwhile, she wished Filipinos good health for the upcoming year.

"Dasal ko na lahat merong good health dahil isa 'yan sa mga bagay na hindi kayang bilhin ng pera (I pray that all of you will have good health because that is one of the things money cannot buy)," she said.

"I wish you all good health for the entire year of 2025," she added.
