3 houses damaged in Tondo fire

Three houses were damaged after a fire broke out along Solis Street corner Abad Santos, Tondo, Manila, on Saturday, December 21.

According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the fire started at 11:11 a.m. inside a two-story house and was raised to the second alarm at 11:20 a.m.

Local authorities said around 15 families were displaced by the fire.

They estimated P400,000 worth of damage to property.

About 14 fire trucks arrived at the scene to control the blaze.

The fire was extinguished at 11:49 a.m.
