A buy-bust operation conducted inside a cemetery resulted in the arrest of a high-value individual (HVI) and the confiscation of P1,360,000 worth of shabu in Pasay City on Saturday, Dec. 14.

Southern Police District (SPD) director Brig. Gen. Bernard Yang identified the suspect as “Bricks,” 24. He was arrested during the operation conducted by the SPD-Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU), in coordination with Pasay City Police Substation 4, inside a cemetery in Barangay 120.

Authorities seized 200 grams of shabu, 49 pieces of P1,000 boodle money, and a mobile phone. Yang said the confiscated evidence was turned over to the SPD Forensic Unit.

Bricks was detained at the SDEU custodial facility, and charges for violation of illegal possession of drugs were filed at the Pasay City Prosecutors Office.
