June Mar Fajardo and import Torren Jones formed a dominant twin-tower combination as San Miguel turned back Blackwater, 115-102, in the PBA Season 49 Commissioner’s Cup at the Ynares Center in Antipolo on Sunday, Dec. 15.

The Beermen turned to their size and heft with Fajardo and Jones throwing their weight around inside the paint to power a second half assault and string their second straight victory for a 3-2 record.

Jones followed up his impressive debut last time out with 29 points and 14 rebounds while Fajardo had a monster double-double of 27 points and 22 rebounds to go with his six assists, giving head coach Leo Austria his second win since taking over the team in their last contests.
