CJHGC-1 fell behind by 11 after rounds but put in consecutive 108 points at the Baguio Country Club for a closing 472 points and a big 23-point win over Forest Hills Team 1.
Paolo Wong, who hails from Benguet, scored 36 points, using his course knowledge of both BCC and Camp John Hay courses, and is a prime candidate for the individual award.
Other scorers for the John Hay squad were Emillio Curran 27, Melchor Rabanes 24 and team captain Leo Corpuz 22.
“I am very proud of this team,” said CJHGC general manager Jude Eustaquio.
Don Breganza and Pierre Ticzon led Forest Hills with 24 while Adrian Romero and Pao Nicomedes addes 21 and 19, respectively.
Im Am-A, Time Cargo Logistics posted its best output of 131 and 442 to complete a come-from-behind triumph over Forest Hills Team 2 (120-437).
Richard delos Santos (37) and Theody Pascual (36) paced Time Cargo while Joseph Tambunting and Dwight Yao each chipped in 29.
