Cone said that Rosario, with his size and versatility, provided what was lacking to his lineup in the past Ginebra lineups.

“He’s a tough kid, he's a physical kid and again that’s a big piece of the puzzle that we didn’t have coming into the conference,” Cone said of Rosario's addition.

“He fills out that physical part playing that 3, 4 position. He can guard multiple people and he’s very physical on the boards,” he added.

Although obviously still adjusting to his new team, Rosario showed a glimpse of what he can do for Ginebra, finishing with nine points along with seven rebounds while providing the muscle inside the paint.

“If you look at our team in the past and see what’s missing it was the physical presence and he really leads us in that physical presence so were still waiting for Jamie and Isaac and Miah to get back and they will help but I don't think anybody is gonna do the things that Troy does for us,” said Cone.

But more than what he can bring to the table when he's on the floor, Cone was more elated to his lineup's newfound flexibility after Rosario's addition.

“He gets everybody back to their comfortable positions by Troy coming in to play the four and the three (spots),” Cone pointed out.

“That allowed Justin to take the wing and he (Rosario) took on the load on the inside and rebounding that we relied on Justin for. And then Stephen (Holt) had to play the wing  last conference and now that allowed us to get him back to the guard position where he is very comfortable,” he added.

Both Holt and Brownlee, playing in their natural positions, had impressive debuts of 26 and 24 points respectively.

“He fills out a really important piece of the puzzle that allowed us to complete the picture. And so that to me was really the key to his addition, not necessarily what he’s gonna do for us game in and game out but for what he does for everybody else,” Cone commented.

“He allows everybody else to be comfortable.”
