The Supreme Court (SC) is set to release on Friday, Dec. 13, the results of the 2024 online Bar examinations.
The results will be posted at its main building courtyard on Padre Faura Street in Ermita, Manila, and will be uploaded to the SC’s official website – sc.judiciary.gov.ph – and official social media accounts.
It also said livestream links and QR Codes of the results via Youtube and Facebook will be shared in the official website and the Court's official communication channels.
“In light of the highly sensitive nature of information related to the results, the Court advises the public that only notices and issuances published on its official website and verified social media accounts should be considered true and accurate,” it added.
SC Associate Justice Mario V. Lopez – chairperson of the SC’s committee on Bar examinations – had earlier said that after the release of the results, the date of the oath taking of the new lawyers and the signing of the roll of attorneys will be announced immediately thereafter.
The Bar examinations were conducted by the SC last Sept. 8, 11, and 15 in 13 local testing centers nationwide.
Last Sept. 8, a total of 10,483 examinees showed up during the first day of the exams.
Of those who took the examinations in the morning of Sept. 8, a total of 5,234 were new applicants, 4,060 were previous takers, and 1,189 were refreshers, the SC said.
It also said that there were 6,108 female and 4,375 male examinees, and there were 155 who are senior citizens and 313 examinees with special needs.
Last Sept. 8, the examinees took the test on Political and Public International Law in the morning and Commercial and Taxation Laws was schedule in the afternoon; Civil Law in the morning on Sept. 11 and Labor and Social Legislation in the afternoon; and Criminal Law in the morning on Sept. 15, and Remedial Law and Legal and Judicial Ethics with Practical Exercises in the afternoon.
