ABS-CBN Studios' newest drama series, "Saving Grace," emerged as the top 1 most-watched TV show on Prime Video Philippines during its premiere last Nov. 28.

Besides the Philippines, “Saving Grace” also streams on-demand in over 240 countries and territories via Prime Video.

In its first two episodes, viewers were introduced to Teacher Anna, portrayed by the country's premier primetime actress Julia Montes, and her troubled past as she navigates to find her purpose in life. She then crosses paths with a loving but abuse-stricken child Grace, played by promising child star Zia Grace.

As she finds out the neglect and abuse Grace has been dealing with from her mother Sarah (Jennica Garcia) and stepfather Chito (Christian Bables), Anna suddenly steps in to take care of her, even if it means leaving behind her dreams momentarily—which is then mistaken as an abduction case.

Sarah then asks for help from a renowned public service host, Miranda Valdez, portrayed by the country's Megastar Sharon Cuneta, in hopes of finding Grace. The episodes also introduced the characters of Janice de Belen as Anna's mother Helena, and Sam Milby as the hard-hitting journalist Julius, among others.

Produced by Dreamscape Entertainment, "Saving Grace" is the Philippine adaptation of Nippon TV's Japanese drama hit "Mother," which spawned various iterations in Turkey, South Korea, Ukraine, Thailand, China, France, Spain, Saudi Arabia, Mongolia, and Greece.

Directed by FM Reyes and Dolly Dulu, "Saving Grace" now streams on-demand exclusively via Prime Video, with two new episodes dropping every Thursday.
