Carnapping suspect arrested in Las Piñas City

A man suspected to be a member of a carnapping syndicate was arrested in a joint operation conducted by members of the Warrant and Subpoena Section (WSS) and Anti-Carnapping Unit (ANCAR) on Sunday, Dec. 1.

Las Piñas City Police chief Col. Sandro Tafalla said the suspect, identified as alias “Teodoro,” 48, was arrested around 12:00 p.m. in Moonwalk Village, Barangay Talon 5, Las Piñas City.

Tafalla said the suspect was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Victor Ramirez Aguba of the Las Piñas City Regional Trial Court Branch 255 on October 15, 2024 with a recommended bail of P300,000.

He said alias Teodoro was detained at the Las Piñas City Police custodial facility after his arrest.
