GAC Motor Philippines, distributed locally by Astara, has achieved a new milestone with the GAC GS3 Emzoom, surpassing 2,500 units sold. This comes after celebrating 1,500 sales back in June 2024, illustrating the increasing demand for, and popularity, of the subcompact crossover in the Philippines. By the end of October, GAC Motor reported total sales of 300 units for the month, with 215 of those being Emzoom vehicles. Since its launch in the Philippines on June 30, 2023, the Emzoom's total sales have reached 2,513 units, with an impressive additional 1,000 units sold in just four months after hitting the 1,500 mark.

Emzoom touring gains popularity
The Emzoom is a competitively priced subcompact crossover powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine good for 177-Ps and 270-Nm of torque. All that power goes through a seven-speed wet dual-clutch transmission that efficiently brings the power to the wheels.
In August 2024, GAC Motor introduced the Emzoom Touring, an upgraded version of the Emzoom GB variant. With a sportier appearance similar to the top-of-the-line R-Style but at a more accessible price point, it has quickly gained traction among customers.
Danzen Gabriel, a lighting director for a national television network, became the 2,500th Emzoom owner with his purchase of the Touring edition, and had this to say about his new crossover: “After considering various options, I was drawn to the GAC Emzoom’s sporty looks and comfortable interior,” Gabriel shared. “Despite being a five-seater, it feels incredibly spacious, and the ride is incredibly smooth. The Touring is a great daily driver for me, with which I can drop off my kids at school and use it as my main means of transportation to work. People are always drawn to this stunning car, and my colleagues are also considering getting their own Emzoom, too. I'm looking forward to meeting up and joining activities with my fellow Emzoom owners, “ he added.
Expanding lineup and dealership network
In addition to the Emzoom, GAC Motor offers a diverse range of models to meet various customer preferences.
