Cops hunt 2 suspects in slaying of 24-year-old man in Malabon


Members of the Malabon City Police Station (MCPS) are hunting down two suspects who shot to death a 24-year-old man along C4 Road, Barangay Tañong, Malabon City, on Friday, Dec. 6.

According to authorities, the victim was identified as Kenneth Lozada, a resident of Navotas City. 

Lozada was dead on the spot after being shot by two unidentified suspects onboard a white PCX motorcycle. Police said that the motorcycle's driver was wearing a white T-shirt while the backride was wearing a red long sleeve, and both had no helmet.

Based on the witness, the victim was seen standing at the place of the incident when the suspects suddenly appeared on board a motorcycle. 

The witness added that the suspects stopped near the victim, and without any reason, they shot him twice and immediately fled in the direction of C-4 Road in Navotas City.

Police officers from MCPS-Sub Station 6 responded after receiving the incident report, prompting them to immediately conduct a follow-up operation and review CCTV footage to facilitate the possible apprehension of the suspects and request a dragnet operation.
