CEBU CITY – A civil engineering graduate of the University of Cebu will receive a brand-new car as reward for topping the November to December civil engineer licensure examination.
Francis Charles Lauta topped the examination with a 93.25 percent rating.
“UC has produced another topnotcher. This means we are giving away another brand-new car,” said UC President Candice Gotianuy. “Becoming Top 1 is no small feat,” added Gotianuy.
UC is known for giving cars or cash incentives to its graduates who land in the Top 10 of licensure examinations.
Three other Cebu-based university graduates also made it to the Top 10 of the examination.
Rodulfo Guanzon Misa Jr. of the University of San Carlos was tied with three other examinees at eighth place with 91.50 percent.
Lorenzo Rafael Arcamo Langbig, also from USC, and John David Jerusalem Maguate of the Cebu Institute of Technology-University joined six other examinees at 10th place with 91.15 percent.
Josh Andrew Medina Martija of the University of the Philippines-Diliman ranked second with a 92.50 percent rating.
Third was Bernard Bonin Abella Flores of the Pangasinan State University-Urdaneta with a 92.25 percent rating.
