The San Juan City government has launched the Christmas tree lighting and opened a Christmas bazaar at the San Juan City Hall, on Tuesday, Dec. 3.

The event started at 6 p.m. and it was spearheaded by Mayor Francis Zamora and his family, marking the most wonderful time of the year.
The celebration was also attended by Congressman Bel Zamora, Vice Mayor Angelo Agcaoili, and the members of the San Juan City Council.
“We are thrilled to welcome everyone as we celebrate the most wonderful time of the year with my fellow San Juaneños,” Zamora said.
He added that the city government also prepared a lot of surprises for the residents.
The lighting ceremony was followed by a fireworks display and performances by Julia Baretto.
The city government will also conduct the Christmas singing competition for the 21 barangays and 13 schools in the city.
The winners will battle for the inter-school and inter-barangay categories.
The ciry government said that the Christmas Bazaar will open from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., until Jan. 1.
It features various small food businesses and vendors offering holiday treats, gifts and more.
In addition, acoustic performances, open mic night, and other surprises were also open.
