The ceremonial lighting of Christmas tree and decorations at the Malolos Cathedral Patio marked the start of the Christmas season and the upcoming Pistang Bayan 2024 in Bulacan.
PPO administration director Lt. Col. Allan Palomo along with the PPO personnel also joined the lighting.
Ediong emphasized the lantern's significance as a beacon of light and a reminder of togetherness and the spirit of giving during the festive season.

Hundreds of Bulakenyos attended the event, enjoying a vibrant fireworks display, traditional Filipino dishes like bibingka and puto bumbong, and festive activities such as photo session with Santa Claus and live performances by guest stars.
Former Bulacan Board Member Michael Fermin, hermano mayor of Pistang Bayan 2024, is inviting everyone to join in the festivities.
