Yamazato Manila, the celebrated Japanese restaurant at Hotel Okura Manila, announces its meticulously crafted Osechi Ryouri, a traditional Japanese New Year feast symbolizing good luck and prosperity.
This year’s Osechi Ryouri is a culinary masterpiece curated by Japanese Executive Chef Keiichiro Fujino, Sushi Chef Ikuma Sato, and Teppan Chef Katsuji Kato. Presented in elegant jubako boxes, the feast highlights a harmonious blend of flavors and textures.
A three-tiered feast of tradition and artistry
First tier: A vibrant selection of sweet and savory items, including gold-leaf-topped black beans, miso-marinated herring roe, candied sardines, and soy-marinated caviar, each symbolizing prosperity and longevity.
Second tier: Oceanic and earthy delights such as simmered octopus, abalone with dashi, grilled yellowtail, and seasonal vegetables like lotus root and bamboo shoot.
Third tier: Premium teppanyaki offerings, including Kumamoto F1 tenderloin tataki, Miyazaki A5 sirloin, and Saga A4 minced cutlet, alongside chirashi and ball-shaped sushi made with seasonal fish.
Each set includes a complimentary bottle of Yamazato Sake, a thoughtful addition to enhance the celebration.
