FPJ Panday Bayanihan Partylist’s First Nominee, Brian Poe, successfully completed the counterintelligence course of the National Intelligence Coordinating Agency, where he received recognition for his case study on the West Philippine Sea.

Poe underwent the said program to obtain additional insights into the country’s national security from the perspective of our local intelligence community.

“It takes a whole-of-society approach to protect our sovereignty and territorial integrity. And as tensions remain high in the West Philippine Sea, it is imperative that we stay up to date on the various methods and strategies to preserve our rights over our national territories.” Poe said.

NICA recently reported that the Philippines continues to be targeted by state-affiliated hacking groups from China.

Poe stressed that the government must be relentless in finding acceptable resolutions to the issue amid the constant threat to our national security.

He further added that the next generation of public servants must continue the legacy of crafting enduring policy reforms if we want to protect and uphold our country’s sovereignty.

FPJ Panday Bayanihan’s First Nominee has a master's degree in national security administration from the National Defense College of the Philippines. He also attended Columbia University for his Masters in Climate & Society before earning his Ph.D. in Public Administration from the University of Perpetual Help.
