BAGUIO CITY – A 28-year-old wanted man from Iloilo City was arrested by the Baguio City Police Office here on Nov. 4.

Police Col. Ruel Tagel, city police chief, said the suspect, Boy, was the eighth most wanted person in on the regional level in Western Visayas, eighth most wanted on the city level in Iloilo City, and third most wanted of the Iloilo City Police Office Station 4.
Tagel credited the e-Warrant System of the Philippine National Police for the suspect’s arrest.
“This advanced system centralizes and digitizes arrest warrants nationwide, allowing law enforcement units from different regions to access real-time data on wanted that person. Through the e-Warrant System and continued cooperation of police units, we are expanding our reach to ensure that even the most difficult offenders are brought to justice, and to ensure that every corner of the country remains safe and secure," said Tagel.
Boy is charged with violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Coordination is ongoing with Iloilo City Police Office Station 4 for the transfer of the suspect to Iloilo City.
