Alex Gonzaga signs recording deal with O/C Records

Music label O/C Records, helmed by celebrity duo Kean Cipriano and Chynna Ortaleza, officially welcomed Alex Gonzaga, the popular singer-actress and social media personality, to their roster of recording artists.

The announcement was made through a surprise drop of her new single on Friday, Nov. 8 – a rendition of Vehnee Saturno’s classic hit “Pasulyap-Sulyap,” which was popularized by Tootsie Guevarra in the late ’90s.

The lyrics of “Pasulyap-Sulyap” express the emotions of someone enamored with another person, often depicting moments of stealing glances or brief encounters that evoke deep feelings – one of the major factors that captivated Alex.

“The song’s melodic and heartfelt nature resonates with anyone who has experienced the thrill and sweetness of budding romance,” Alex explained, describing what drew her to the classic hit.

According to Alex, she chose to ink a deal with O/C to showcase her musicality. WithO/C’s reputation for managing OPM hitmakers from Unique Salonga and Arthur Nery to Adie, mrld, and Ryannah J, Alex has aligned herself with a powerhouse talent team.“
