TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan – A total of 4,912 families or 17,737 individuals in Cagayan province have been evacuated due to typhoon "Marce."

The Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office said that 21 towns have conducted preemptive evacuation to ensure the safety of the residents from the typhoon as of 8 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 7.
The PDRMMO said 4,312 families composed of 16,090 individuals are staying in various evacuation centers with the rest temporarily living with neighbors or relatives.
The PDRRMO and the Task Force Servant Cagayan-Quick Response Team continue to focus on the possible impact of the typhoon. The PDRRM Council is on alert status.
