Boy, 8, electrocuted in Quezon

ATIMONAN, Quezon – An eight-year-old boy was electrocuted in Barangay Caridad Ibaba here on Monday afternoon, Nov. 4.

Laborer dies after electrocution in Quezon

Atimonan police chief Police Major Marnie Abellanida identified the victim as Athan, student, of Barangay Caridad Ibaba.

Abellanida said the victim was on his way home after playing under a bridge when he accidentally touched a grounded electric post.

Athan was electrocuted and slumped on the pavement.

A friend, John Mark Avellana, witnessed the incident and sought help from neighbors.

Athan was taken to a hospital where he was declared dead.
