CAVITE – The observance of All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day in the province has been “generally peaceful,” according to the Cavite Police Provincial Office (PPO).
In a statement released on Sunday, November 3, Cavite PPO said that preparations and proper collaboration with government agencies led to a safe and secure holiday period for Caviteños.
Cavite PPO Acting Director Col. Dwight E. Alegre personally conducted random inspections at cemeteries to ensure that safety protocols were followed and security measures were effectively implemented.
“Despite the expected volume of visitors to cemeteries and areas of convergence, we have successfully managed to maintain peace and order,” Alegre said.
The acting director extended his gratitude to the police personnel and other uniformed service members for their commitment to maintaining peace and order and he likewise expressed his appreciation to the community for their cooperation.
