Bayani Tecson shot the lowest gross of five-under-par 64 to lead winners in Camp John Hay Golf Club’s silver anniversary golf tournament held in Baguio City.
Club chairman Robert John Sobrepeña submitted 53 net points to beat Rey Gundran (50) and Marciano Garcia (47) in Class A. Nelson Co finished with 52 and defeated Cesar Lugtu (51) and Julius Villcruz (48) in Class B.
The event was staged by Camp John Hay to honor the founding members, who have been with the club for the past 25 years.
In the regular competition, Edwin Sagsago (Group 1), Jaime Bumactao Jr. (Group 2), Nestle Sapitola (Group 3), Monet Garcia (Seniors 1), Raul Cadiogan (Seniors 2), Julius Lagiwid (Seniors 3), Kim Hyang Kyung (Ladies 1) and Mitos Yñiguez (Ladies 2) were the other winners.
In the sponsors division, Jonar Austria (Group 1) and Jimmy Lapnawan (Group 2) stood out.
The Manor and Forest Lodge at Camp John Hay and Le Chef co-presented the tournament with gold sponsors AIP Construction, Cebu Blue Bloods, Abomar Equipment Sales Corp., NGE Group of Companies and CWC International. Megatesting Center, MRT Dev. Co., Bishop Carlito J. Cenzon Foundation, Addessa Corp. Baguio, Korean Palace and Baguio Country Club were silver sponsors.
