UnionBank of the Philippines, in partnership with Mercury Drug, one of the nation’s major drugstore chains, has launched the UnionBank Mercury Credit Card, the country’s first credit card designed specifically for health and wellness rewards. Unveiled on October 18, 2024, at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, this new financial product introduces unique benefits that cater to the needs of Filipinos who prioritize health and well-being.

The UnionBank Mercury Credit Card offers exclusive rewards for health-related purchases, providing 5X rewards points on all health and wellness related purchases. This includes purchases at Mercury Drug and other wellness-oriented spending.

At the launch event, guests enjoyed a range of wellness activities, including indoor cycling and yoga classes, followed by a fashion show featuring ON, a Swiss-engineered line of performance running shoes and apparel.
