"This year, we have set our theme as 'Timeless Christmas'. It is symbolic for us for two reasons: First, we would like to highlight the timelessness of Taal Vista Hotel, providing you with a blend of culture, tradition, and comfort through the years. On our 85th anniversary, we are grateful to have been a part of your lives, big or small. And we are thankful to each and every one of you for always making us your home. Second, Christmas is a timeless tradition for every family. This season, we look forward to have you as we share specially curated offers for the holidays," said Makilan.

The celebration began with the official relaunch of the "A Walk through Time" at the Lake Wing. The exhibit narrates the intertwined history of Taal Volcano, Taal, Batangas, and Taal Vista Hotel, one of the grand dames of the country’s tourism industry. Aside from minor renovations, the exhibit features new additions to its featured panels.

This was followed by a cocktail reception at the hotel’s mid gardens, where the guests gathered for the Christmas tree lighting event.
