Education for all/education reform, job opportunities/jobs, corruption, economy and healthcare. These are what young people in the Philippines would prioritize if they were the one residing in Malacañang.
Also, part of the key agenda if we, for instance, let the youth run the show are: agriculture, environment/climate change, poverty, mental health, equality, the justice system, infrastructure, employable skills, and technology. Not a bad plan!
The bigger the word/phrase, the more votes it got from the youth. Some words/phrases are related like education, education reform, and education for all. Nearly 3,000 youth, 13-24 years old, answered UNICEF Philippines’ nationwide U-Report poll that sought to give the youth a platform where they can voice out their real-life concerns and thoughts on what’s happening now and how it can affect their future.
