An actress was arrested by members of the Pasay City Police Substation 10 in coordination with the Warrant and Subpoena Section (WSS) for 14 counts of violation of Securities Regulation Code and estafa last Nov. 23.
The Southern Police District (SPD) said the suspect identified as alias “Erin,” 41, an actress and a businesswoman, was arrested at around 2:50 p.m. at a basement convention center of a mall in Pasay City.

Pasay City Police chief Col. Samuel Pabonita said Erin, who was ranked as No. 7 under station level, was able to post a bail of P126,000 for each count for violation of Section 28 of the Republic Act 8799 or the Securities Regulation Code, which includes provisions on registration of brokers, dealers, salesmen, and other associated persons, issued by Judge Gina Bibat Palamos, of Pasay City Regional Trial Court, Branch 111 on September 18, 2024, and October 16, 2024.
Pabonita said Erin, who is also facing an estafa case without bail recommended, remains detained at the Pasay City Police custodial facility and will be turned over to the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) after the court issued the commitment order.
He said the warrant of arrest for estafa was issued by Judge Ronald August L. Tan, of Pasay City RTC Branch 112 on September 17, 2024.
