Christmas has always had a special magic, especially for children. From the twinkling lights to the thrill of unwrapping gifts, the season brings wonder and excitement. But for the young at heart, it’s also a time to relive cherished memories—of caroling, festive feasts, and the warmth of family gatherings. Beyond the glitter and the gifts, Christmas offers a shared joy where people of all ages find reasons to celebrate.
The South sparkled with holiday cheer as Evia Lifestyle Center in Villar City, Las Piñas, kicked off its annual Christmas tree lighting celebration, “Once Upon A Christmas,” on November 13, 2024. The night was filled with magic as Villar Group chairman Manny Villar and his daughter, Vista Land managing director Camille Villar, led the ceremony, bringing families together to celebrate the season.
Against the backdrop of Evia’s glowing Christmas tree, adorned with thousands of lights, the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra played timeless holiday tunes, evoking nostalgia and wonder among attendees. Performers from Madison Events also took to the stage, spreading joy to everyone present. For children—and perhaps the young at heart—there was an extra treat: a special meet-and-greet with Santa Claus. The night ended with a dazzling fireworks display and a fun snow blast, making for a truly unforgettable celebration.
The event also marked the start of Vista Malls' holiday festivities, with more tree-lighting ceremonies scheduled at Vista Mall NOMO on November 17 and Vista Mall Sta. Rosa on November 23. Each event promises its own unique holiday displays and family-friendly activities, creating lasting memories.
Evia Lifestyle Center’s “Once Upon A Christmas” brought the holiday magic to life for kids and kids at heart. From festive music to shared moments of joy, it celebrated the traditions and connections that make Christmas unforgettable for all ages.
