More than 700 bikers join ‘Padyak Pasay, Pedal Forward 2024’


More than 700 bikers joined the ‘Padyak Pasay, Pedal Forward 2024” held at  SM by the Bay, Pasay City on Saturday, Nov. 23.

Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the event was in celebration of National Bicycle Day and one of the various activities prepared by the city government in celebration of the city’s 161st Pasay Day on December 2.

Rubiano said the event aims to promote bike-friendly areas and a cleaner greener sustainable future.

She also said the activity is also part of the city’s grand vision of becoming the first sustainable Eco City in the country.

“Together, there is nothing that we cannot pedal forward to. With our hands held tightly bound with a collective purpose of rendering Tapat at Higit sa Sapat na Paglilingkod, the track ahead is definitely brighter. Eventually leading us to a place of positive transformation and wide scale progress and development,” Rubiano told the participants.

The mayor said the‘Padyak Pasay, Pedal Forward 2024” event also conducted a bike clinic and bike audit for participants.
