Mayor Jeannie Sandoval, First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, William Vincent “Vinny” Marcos, Newport World Resorts Foundation Executive Director Attorney Walter Mactal, and Ospital ng Malabon Chief Physician Jennifer Amolo Lim led the van's blessing and turnover ceremony.

Malabon was chosen as a beneficiary of the "Lab for All" program, a flagship initiative of the First Lady in collaboration with Newport World Resorts.

The program aims to provide mobile healthcare services, especially to underserved communities, by offering laboratory tests, consultations, and medication through well-equipped medical vans.

The 22-foot-long van is outfitted with modern diagnostic tools, including a hematology analyzer for CBC, a chemistry analyzer for blood tests, x-ray and ultrasound machines, and an ECG device.

Mayor Sandoval expressed her gratitude for the selection of Malabon as a recipient, emphasizing how the van will boost the city's healthcare initiatives and ensure accessible medical services for all residents.

"Ang LAB for All Medical van ay malaking tulong para sa mga Malabueño dahil nailalapit nito ang mga serbisyong medikal sa lahat, lalo na sa mga higit na nangangailangan (The LAB for All Medical Van is a great help for Malabueños as it brings medical services closer to everyone, especially to those who are most in need),” she said.

“Sa susunod ay makikita niyo na ang van na ito na umiikot sa ating lungsod upang makatulong sa inyo. Makakaasa kayo na mas marami pang serbisyong pangkalusugan ang ating gagawin upang masigurong malusog ang Malabueño tungo sa progreso at pag-unlad (Soon, you will see this van roaming around our city to assist you. Rest assured that we will provide more health services to ensure a healthier Malabueño community on the path to progress and development),” Sandoval added.

The event was also attended by Newport Resorts Foundation Acting Director for Corporate Communications Joy Andrade, PR Officer Judd Jhocson, Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation Gaming Licensing and Development Department Senior Manager II Angelie Agustin, Regulatory Officer Marisse Sabido, city department heads, and employees.
