The intelligence unit of Lapu-Lapu City Police Office (LLCPO) led by Police Lt. Col. Mark Lester Eteroza recovered the contraband placed inside a traveling bag from Wilzen Messiah Regalado Credo, a 42-year-old resident of Barangay Lagtang, Talisay City, Cebu.
Police Lt. Col. Christian Torres, information officer of the LLCPO, said they conducted a month-long surveillance operation before Credo was cornered.
The suspect was allegedly capable of selling three kilos of shabu to his clients in Cebu City, Mandaue City, and Lapu-Lapu, he said.
Torres added that Credo underwent rehabilitation in 2021 but went back to drug peddling after completing the activity.
Torres said a follow-up operation is underway to identify the suspect’s cohorts and his source of illegal drugs.
