Oro Inodoro: Muntinlupa City Hall gets best public restroom award

The Muntinlupa City Hall was recognized for having the cleanest, most impressive and accessible public restroom.

The Oro Inodoro Awards ceremony was held and organized by Maynilad Water Services and Kubeta PH.

The city hall’s restroom emerged as the grand winner in the Best Public Restrooms under Offices and Schools Category in the Philippines.

“The next time you visit City Hall, check out our restroom at the 2nd Floor Main Building—an exemplar of cleanliness and comfort that’s truly deserving of recognition!” the Muntinlupa City government said.

According to Kubeta PH, “The restroom must be visually appealing, clean, accessible, water and waste efficient, and eco-friendly.

The winners were selected in three categories:

- Commercial and retail: restaurants, malls, hotels, and gasoline stations

- Offices and schools: private and government offices, schools, and universities

- Parks and terminals: public parks, museums, transportation terminals

According to the Muntinlupa City government, the win only showed the city’s efficiency in managing wastewater and maintaining the restroom clean, accessible, eco-friendly and comfortable for all.
