The Las Piñas City government conducted its annual gift-giving for Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) aimed to honor their dedication in promoting the city’s nutrition programs.
Las Piñas City Vice Mayor April Aguilar led the distribution of Christmas food packages containing spaghetti noodles, fruit cocktails and other items as part of the city government's efforts in thanking them for their tireless service to the community.
Aguilar said the event, which was organized by City Nutrition Office under Dr. Julio Javier II, also served as an opportunity to recognize the invaluable role of BHWs in implementing grassroots health initiatives and ensuring proper nutrition for residents across the city.
She said it also highlighted the city’s commitment to supporting its volunteer workers and reaffirmed the city’s dedication to providing inclusive and progressive public service for all.
