2 teenage students out to buy milk tea killed in motorcycle-SUV crash


RAMON, Isabela – Two teenage students were killed and their companion was injured in a collision between their motorcycle and a Sports Utility Vehicle in Barangay Oscariz here on Wednesday night, Nov. 20.

The Police Regional Office-2 said that the female victims were on their way to buy milk tea here on board a motorcycle when the accident happened.

Their motorcycle was about to turn left when it was hit by the fast-moving SUV, police said.

The SUV driver and the motorcycle occupants sustained injuries.

The victims were taken to a hospital where two of them were declared dead.

The motorcycle occupants – two 14-year-old and one 19-year-old – were from Ifugao province.

Police said one of the victims told her mother that she was going out to buy milk tea.

The two vehicles sustained damages with still undetermined cost of repair. 

The SUV driver was taken to the Ramon police station for further investigation and proper disposition.
