26th edition of Orchard Founders Cup gets underway

Lucia Land, Inc. which gets going Thursday, Nov. 21, at the Palmer and Player courses of the Orchard Golf and Country Club in Dasmarinas, Cavite.


A bonanza of prizes worth at least P10 million are up for grabs in the 26th edition of  the Founders Cup Invitational member-guest tournament presented by Sta. Lucia Land, Inc. which gets going Thursday, Nov. 21, at the Palmer and Player courses of the Orchard Golf and Country Club in Dasmarinas, Cavite.

The 800 players forming 400 member-guest teams will get two chances each at the hole-in-one prizes at stake including seven latest model cars, two golf carts, golf equipment, trip vouchers and cash aside from the attractive prizes for tournament winners and the raffle.

At the Player course, a hole-in-one on No. 3 wins a Toyota Raize and a TaylorMade Qi iron steel set, a Nissan Almera VE on No. 5, a Toyota Yaris Cross and a Cobra CBMB iron set on No. 11 and a Cherry Tiggo 2 Pro plus a Japan Airlines round-trip business class ticket on No. 14.

At the Palmer course, a hole-in-one on No. 5 will be rewarded with a Toyota Veloz and a Club Car Tempo, also a Toyota Veloz and a Honma iron set on No. 7, a Grnadsportivo e-motorcycle and a Titleist iron set on No. 12 and a Toyota Wigo plus a Gransportivo cart on No.16.

The club is also offering P100,000 worth of prizes  (P60,000 cash, P20,000 worth of pro shop voucher and P20,000 worth of F&B voucher for any ace).

The Orchard Founders Cup is also sponsored by Aqua Terra Integrated as event partner and BDO - Visa, ProHance, The Turf Company, Toyota-Bacoor as major sponsors and Chefscorp, Gamboa & Sons (Gransportivo), Globe Telecom, Golforce, Inc., TES Advertising Agency Inc, as premium sponsors.

There is also a separate raffle that stakes a Toyota Fortuner, a Toyota Cross and a Toyota Hill Conquest the winners of which will be announced during the award ceremony this Sunday at the Orchard tennis court area where a giant tent will be set up for the first time in the event’s history.
