PRO-Cordillera nets P130-M shabu, marijuana in October

CAMP DANGWA, Benguet â€“ The Police Regional Office-Cordillera seized P130-million worth of illegal drugs and arrested 25 suspected drug pushers from Oct. 1 to 30.

The POR-Cordillera Regional Operations Division said they carried out 102 operations â€“ 78 marijuana eradication, 12 buy-bust operations, six execution of search warrants, three service of arrest warrants, and three police responses.

Confiscated were 107.41 grams of shabu, 470,353 fully grown marijuana plants, 27,402 marijuana seedlings, five grams of marijuana seeds, 274,525.50 grams of dried marijuana leaves and fruiting tops, 10 grams of dried marijuana leaves and fruits, and three milliliters of marijuana oil.

Fifteen of those arrested were high-value individuals and 10 were street-level individuals.

The Kalinga Police Provincial Office confiscated illegal drugs worth P59,057,110; Mountain Province PPO, P45,098,005; Benguet PPO, P25,296.48, and Baguio City Police Office, P553,036.
