BACOLOD CITY – The Philippine Coast Guard-northern Negros Occidental has recorded 22,697 passengers who have travelled in the northern part of the province for “Undas.”

It said that 11,131 outbound and 11,566 inbound passengers and 4,576 rolling cargoes, 2,169 outbound and 2,407 inbound, have entered and exited through the seven seaports and localities since Oct. 31 as of All Souls’ Day.
The PCG logged 1,305 outbound and 1,009 inbound passengers and 194 outbound and 193 inbound rolling cargoes as of noontime Saturday, Nov. 2.
San Carlos City had the most passengers with 880, followed by Bacolod City with 648, Victorias City, 292; Escalante City, 195; Lakawon Island, 153; Pulupandan, 95, and Cadiz City, 51.
The PCG also inspected eight Roll-on, Roll-off (Ro-Ro) vessels, nine motorboats, and two fast craft vessels.
Fifty-six PCG personnel were deployed to assist and ensure the safety of the travelers.
