According to its weather forecast, PAGASA said the easterlies will affect the eastern sections of Luzon and Visayas.

Due to the easterlies' influence, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms are expected in Cagayan Valley, Aurora, Quezon, the Bicol Region, and Eastern Visayas.

Meanwhile, localized thunderstorms may bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms to Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

PAGASA also warned of possible flash floods or landslides due to severe thunderstorms.
