Some residents of Marilao, Bulacan on Wednesday, Nov. 20, called the attention of water concessionaire Prime Water and the municipal government to take immediate action following the 3-day water service interruption they are experiencing since Nov. 17.
According to residents, only one water tanker was deployed at Metro Gate village.
They added that the village has been experiencing the water service interruption for a few days already after a backhoe hit the main pipe of Prime Water while a rip-rap was being built in the area.
Meanwhile, Prime Water said the mainline leak repair in Northville, Lambakin has already been completed as of Tuesday, Nov. 19. However, some affected areas may still experience low water pressure or be waterless as the pressure continues to build up.
Water discoloration may also occur due to pipeline disturbances. Flushing activities will be conducted as needed.
"We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and deeply appreciate the understanding, patience, and cooperation of those affected."
