An unidentified man was found dead inside a car that was parked along Padre Algue Street in Tondo, Manila on Tuesday morning, Nov. 19.
According to the Manila Police District (MPD), they received a report from a traffic enforcer that there was a man inside a car who appeared to be having a heart attack.
The MPD immediately deployed personnel from the Manila Disaster and Risk Reduction Management Office (DRRMO) to verify the information.
However, the deployed Manila DRRMO personnel said the man had several stab wounds and was already dead.
Based on the initial investigation, the stabbing incident did not occur on the same street but in a different area.
Police also said that it appeared that the victim attempted to flee but was unable to get far due to the gravity of his stab wounds, so he pulled over and parked.
Authorities said they will review the closed-circuit television (CCTV) devices installed along the roads where the victim possibly passed to track down the suspect.
