BI: Wanted Japanese, 2 others deported


The Bureau of Immigration (BI) has facilitated the deportation of a 49-year old Japanese tagged as one of the leaders of a criminal group engaged in some violent activities in Japan.

Tomohiro Koyama, allegedly the number 3 man of “JP Dragon” boarded his flight back to Japan along with two other Japanese that were subjected to deportation by the Philippine government. They boarded a flight at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1.

Based on BI records, Tomohiro was arrested by operatives of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) in January due to a case of estafa.. 

During his arrest, Tomohiro yielded a gun and suspected illegal drugs.

The BI report disclosed that Tomohiro arrived in the country in 2019.
