With the three Final Four seats already secured by La Salle, UP and UST, the Red Warriors (6-7) try to complete the cast when they face the Fighting Maroons (10-3) in their 5:30 p.m. clash.

The last time UE advanced to the semis was in 2009 or in Season 72 where Paul Lee along with Elmer Espiritu led the Red Warriors to the finals but eventually yielded to Rabeh Al-Hussaini and the Ateneo Blue Eagles in three games.

They might do it again if the Jack Santiago-mentored crew could surprise the State U which prevailed in their opening round affair via an 81-71 decider last Sept. 14.

If UE fails to hurdle UP, Adamson could book the last ticket if the Soaring Falcons win over Ateneo Blue Eagles in the final preliminary game on Saturday, Nov. 23.

Precious Momowei is expected to deliver big for the Red Warriors along with Wello Lingolingo, Rainer Maga, John Abate and Ethan Galang
