3 notorious motorcycle thieves nabbed in Bulacan


Three suspected members of a motorcycle theft group were apprehended in Bulacan during a coordinated operation by the Plaridel Police and the Calumpit Municipal Police on Sunday, November 17.

 Police identified the suspects as “Kier,” “Joross,” and “Dave.”According to the police report, the incident occurred at 11:30 p.m. on November 16 in Barangay Lagundi.

The victims, a 43-year-old and a 20-year-old man, both lost their motorcycles to the suspects.

The suspects were apprehended while riding two black motorcycles.

Authorities brought the suspects to the Plaridel Police Station for further investigation, including efforts to recover the stolen motorcycles.

The suspects will face charges under Republic Act 10883, or the New Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016.

Central Luzon Police Regional Director Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan commended the successful operation and reaffirmed the police force's commitment to public safety.

“We assure the public that the police are always ready to respond for their safety and protection,” he said. 

“This operation also sends a strong message to those involved in similar crimes: you cannot escape the hands of the law,” Maranan added.
