Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) seized P34 million worth of shabu on Saturday, November 16, following the arrest of a drug suspect during a search warrant operation in Alabang zapote Road, Las Piñas City.
By virtue of ‘Search Warrant No. 24-079 issued by Vice Executive Judge Mildred Jacinto, the authorities collared Kenneth Bandong who was present at the place where the warrant was served. In the meantime, about five kilograms of shabu concealed in transparent plastic were also recovered at the area of operation.
However, the other suspected drug personality, who was the subject of the same search warrant, remained at large.
“Further, the key of the condo unit, a money counter, a vehicle, and an identification card were also confiscated from the suspects during the operation,’’ the PDEA said.
The operation was led by the PDEA Regional Office-National Capital Region (PDEA RO NCR)-Northern District Office.
Bandong faces charges for violation of Section 11 (possession of dangerous drugs), Article II of Republic Act (RA) 9165 otherwise known as “The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.’’
