Nueva Ecija police brace for 'Pepito'

The Nueva Ecija Police Provincial Office said they are ready for oncoming super typhoon “Pepito.”

Police Col. Ferdinand Germino, Nueva Ecija police chief, said that the Reactionary Standby Support Force has been activated and they are closely coordinating with the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) to maintain an efficient and unified response.

Search and rescue equipment have been thoroughly inspected and accounted for to ensure rapid deployment.

Germino urged the people to stay alert. 

“We encourage the community to remain vigilant. Your police force is always ready to provide rescue and assistance during emergencies,” he added.
