Combat Sports Championship scheduled for February 2025 in Pasig City


The celebrities in the world of martial arts are set to gather for the Combat Sports Championship in February 2025 in Pasig City.

"Join us this February 2025 at ULTRA in Pasig City as we embark on a new era in combat sports, dedicated to producing future champions," the Philippine Combat Sports Association (PCSA) said.

The event will feature martial arts disciplines from around the world, including Jiu-Jitsu, Wushu, Kurash, Judo, Muay Thai, and Taekwondo.

The PCSA invites all martial arts practitioners in and outside Pasig City to participate in the event which is aimed at shaping the future of Philippine combat sports.

Dr. Jose Antonio E. Goitia, the president of the Philippine Combat Sports Association (PCSA), also recently attended the victory of Zeus Babanto who was the Silver Medalist at the World Youth Jiu-Jitsu Championship in Greece.

The celebration was attended by other prominent figures in the martial arts community, including Judo National Team Olympian Captain Benjie McMurray, Judo Black Belt and first nominee of Ang Bumbero ng Pilipinas (ABP) party list Coach Stephen Kamphuis, Head Coach of the Jiu-Jitsu National Team and Proprietor of KMA Gym Coach Estie Gay D. Liwanen, Jiu-Jitsu Federation of the Philippines and former President of Veterans Judo Club and former Commanding General of the AFP Reservist Command Judo Coach Gen. Joel Joseph Cabides.

The leadership of PCSA also extends their gratitude to Judo and Wrestling Practitioner and former Secretary General of Philippine Judo Federation, Inc. Vic Pinlac, and Mr. Gil Montilla.
