CEBU CITY – Suspected shabu valued at P9.1 million was seized from a 41-year-old man described by police as a big-time drug pusher in Bohol province.

Vicente Sarno was arrested in a buy-bust operation with 1.3 kilos of shabu by the Provincial Intelligence Unit of the Bohol Police Provincial Office on Friday afternoon, Nov. 15, in Barangay Mariveles, Dauis town.
Police Lt. Col. Joemar Pomarejos, chief of the PIU, said the suspect, a resident of Alburquerque town, Bohol, had been monitored for the past months after his name was mentioned in previous anti-illegal drug operations.
Pomarejos said the suspect was allegedly tasked to safekeep huge amounts of illegal drugs intended for distribution in the province.
He added that the illegal drug supply was delivered through a contact who is currently detained in a jail facility. The police did not identify which jail the contact was detained.
