The Pasay City government urged residents to prepare their “Go Bag” or emergency kits as Super Typhoon Pepito is expected to bring heavy to intense rains with strong winds.
Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano told residents to prepare their “Go Bag” containing first aid kit with alcohol, bandage, antiseptics, maintenance medicine, medicines for fever, for cough, colds and diarrhea; survival kit containing flash lights, rope, whistle, pocket knife, notebook and pen.
Rubiano also told residents to prepare some of their personal belongings like dress, towels, toiletries, blanket, charger and power bank.
For immediate or emergency response, she said the residents may coordinate at Pasay City Disaster risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) at Pasay City Trunkline 888-72729 (PASAY) loc. 1371, 1372 o 1373.
The mayor added the Manila Electric Company (Meralco) also came out with an advisory for a possible power service interruption and asked the public to charge their mobile devices including their power banks.
