City Administrator Dr. Alex Rosete shared the implementation of systems such as one-stop shops and online portals to make services/processes more accessible, efficient, customer-focused, and transparent.
“The City of Malabon demonstrates a solid commitment to improving the lives of its residents through comprehensive public service delivery, health and education initiatives, community engagement, and sustainable development. By focusing on the needs of Malabueños, the city government strives to create a thriving, resilient, and empowered community that can confidently face current and future challenges,” Dr. Rosete said.
The system prevents the need for residents to wait in long queues, allows them to process tax payments, and business renewals using their mobile devices, and reduces corruption by minimizing face-to-face interactions and paperwork.
He also discussed the Malabon Ahon Blue Card which provides financial and medical assistance to underprivileged residents, particularly senior citizens, persons with disabilities (PWDs), and other marginalized sectors.
The city government also ensures that its Command and Communication Center, early warning systems, pumping stations, and other assets will be operational during heavy rains or other calamities for the safety of the residents.
“Through various programs and initiatives, the city government aims to enhance public service delivery, promote community engagement, and foster sustainable development,” Dr. Rosete said.
