A 29-year-old armed man was arrested by authorities on his third attempt to steal motorcycles from different victims in Guiguinto, Bulacan, on Tuesday, November 12.

According to Bulacan Police Provincial Director Col. Satur Ediong, the attempted thefts occurred along Cagayan Valley Road in Barangay Sta. Rita.
The suspect first attempted to take a black-and-gray motorcycle by threatening the owner with a gun outside a convenience store. Despite managing to sit on the motorcycle, he failed to start it.
After abandoning the motorcycle, he crossed the road and approached a second victim with an orange motorcycle, and assaulted the driver multiple times. The victim managed to escape with the motorcycle's key.
On his third attempt, the suspect targeted another victim with a green motorcycle but was immediately arrested by responding police officers and local security personnel.
The suspect will face multiple charges, including violation of the New Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016 and R.A. 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act).
PRO3 Director Brig. Gen. Redrico A. Maranan lauded the quick action of the police and also commended them for their unwavering dedication and hard work in ensuring the safety and security of the citizens.
